From Gold to Diamond: YouView Reaches Greenlys Highest Sustainability CertificationNov 4, 2026

YouView is proud to have achieved Greenly's Diamond Climate Strategy Rating, the highest rating available through the platform. This places YouView within the top 1% of companies reporting globally through Greenly.

This recognition marks another important milestone in our sustainability journey and reflects the progress we have made in strengthening our carbon strategy, improving the accuracy of our environmental data and turning our commitments into meaningful action.

YouView's Goals

Enhance the quality and accuracy of our emissions data and reporting processes to ensure robust measurement of our Scope 1, 2 and 3 footprint.

Work closely with suppliers, service providers and our landlord to support collective decarbonisation efforts and reduction targets.

Maintain our focus on reducing emissions per active device through ongoing cloud resource optimisation, efficiency initiatives and sustainable management of our technology infrastructure.

Our latest carbon assessment calculated YouView's total greenhouse gas emissions for FY25/26 at 1.79 ktCO e, compared with our FY23/24 baseline of 3.23 ktCO e. This represents an overall reduction of approximately 45% against our baseline.

Our improvement initiatives are continuously focused on reducing energy consumption, waste and unnecessary resource use across our technology and platform operations.

Delivering More with Less Environmental Impact We continue to balance business growth with environmental responsibility. While supporting a larger customer base and increased demand for our services, we achieved a significant reduction in emissions per active product, reflecting our ongoing focus on operational efficiency and sustainable growth.

Sustainability is increasingly embedded in how we operate acrossYouView, from the way we manage our technology platforms to how we makeday-to-day business decisions. Achieving Greenlys Diamond certification isrecognition of the commitment shown by teams throughout the company and theprogress we have made together.
