Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 22 September 2016 - comScore, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCOR) today announced the launch of MMX Multi-Platform in the Netherlands to measure unduplicated audiences across desktop, smartphones and tablets to account for today's total digital population. The new service builds on comScore's rich audience measurement solutions, including MMX, Mobile Metrix and Video Metrix, to provide holistic measurement of consumers' media consumption habits across devices.
In the Netherlands, we see 61% percent of consumers tapping into digital content across multiple screens - including desktops, smartphones and tablets - making multi-platform data a necessity in understanding the best way to reach and engage consumers effectively and efficiently across devices, said Guido Fambach, SVP EMEA of comScore. MMX Multi-Platform Measures Holistic View Across Desktop, Smartphone and Tablets
comScore MMX Multi-Platform accounts for total unduplicated audience reach across desktop and mobile devices, providing a single metric that accounts for publishers' digital media audiences. This unduplicated view of behaviour is particularly important as consumers increasingly navigate digital content - including websites, videos and apps - across screens.

The total digital population in the Netherlands reached 14.2 million unique visitors in July 2016, with 61% of the population accessing the Internet from both desktop and mobile platforms.
In comparison to other markets, Internet users in the Netherlands were more likely to be multi-platform users compared to those in France, which saw 58% of users access the Internet from both desktop and mobile devices. The UK and Germany, both saw higher multi-platform usage at 64% and 70%, respectively.
Millennials showed the highest propensity toward multi-platform usage with 92% of 25-34 year olds in the Netherlands accessing from multiple devices, closely followed by 88% of those aged 35-44.
