Award-winning actress Jessica Nkosi, who plays the villainous role of Thando Sebata in The Queen has confirmed her departure from the telenovela. The TVSA July and August teasers also reveal that actors Rapulana Seiphemo, who plays her father Hector Sebata, and Nomsa Buthelezi, who plays her mother-in-law MaJali Khoza have also left the show.

AND JUST LIKE THAT, THANDO SEBATA IS OUT' The former Isabaya actress Jessica Nkosi, who received a Royalty Soapie Award for her role as Thando Sebata took to her Instagram tonight to reveal that she has left The Queen. Former Generations actor Rapulana Seiphemo, who plays Hector Sebata, and Nomsa Buthelezi, who plays MaJali have also exited the show.

The actress is one of the many actors who will exit the show this season before the telenovela films its final episode.

THE QUEEN VIEWERS REACT TO HER EXIT Mzansi Magic announced in February that The Queen is ending in January 2023 after seven seasons on television. TVSA revealed that the telenovela will begin filming its final season on Monday, 25 July and that there are only 125 episodes left of the popular show.
