RTI Offers Sneak Peek of New Products Making Their Debut at CEDIA Expo 2018

Available Later This Year, Solutions Include New T4x Remote Control, Tabletop and On-Wall Touchpanels, and Next-Generation Video Distribution Products

SHAKOPEE, Minn. and POOLE, England - Sept. 4, 2018 - RTI, a leading control and automation manufacturer for residential and commercial settings, will provide a sneak peek of several new products set to ship later this year and making their debut at CEDIA Expo 2018, taking place Sept. 6-8 at the San Diego Convention Center. In Booth 2627, the company will be showcasing the new T4x flagship remote control, KA8 and KA11 tabletop and on-wall touchpanels, and the next generation of its AV-over-HDBaseT solutions.

The new T4x remote control is perfectly suited for any contemporary environment. Its sleek, sophisticated design offers superb ergonomics, a high-resolution 4-inch capacitive touchscreen, and fully programmable soft-touch buttons. The T4x sets the standard in wireless control with advanced features, including grip sensors, Wi-Fi, dual RF, and more.

Featuring fully customizable 8-inch or 11.6-inch widescreen high-resolution LCD displays with integrated capacitive touchscreens, the KA8 and KA11 touchpanels provide simple, intuitive control over all electronic systems. The sleek devices are easily wall-mounted or can be used with an accessory stand for tabletop installation. Ambient light and proximity sensors automatically adjust the screen brightness and LED backlight according to the environment's light level, while built-in Ethernet with PoE and dual-band Wi-Fi enable video from IP security cameras, enhanced two-way feedback, and remote programming updates.

In partnership with Pulse-Eight, next-generation video distribution solutions on display at CEDIA will include the VHD-Ux 8 x 10 matrix switch and VHT-Ux extender set, which utilize the latest Class C+DSC HDBaseT technology to deliver ultra HD 4K HDR with 4:4:4 chroma sampling over a single category cable. The result is a visually lossless video image with incredible color depth and contrast, all possible over distances up to 328 feet with 18 Gbps bandwidth and no latency. The solutions also feature built-in diagnostics and monitoring capabilities. Additional video distribution products on display will include 4 x 4 and 8 x 8 HDBaseT matrix switches, HDBaseT extenders, and an HDMI 18 Gbps 4K downscaler with audio de-embedding.

RTI products on display at CEDIA that are currently available include the RTiQ intelligent remote monitoring solution and the latest version of RTI's Integration Designer APEX programming software. The company will also highlight the Miravue VIP-1 video-over-IP system, RTiXcel state-of-the-art online learning management system, and a new driver for the Sonos Home Sound System that is being developed as part of the Works with Sonos program.

CEDIA Expo 2018 is going to be a fantastic show for RTI, said RTI CEO Ed McConaghay. Over the past year, we've been busy developing products, technology, and tools that will empower our dealers.
