Last Night on the Bachelor Canada: Brad Took the Bachelorettes on Romantic East Coast Fantasy Dates

Bachelorette Kara was sent home in week six

TORONTO (November 8, 2012) With hometown dates out of the way, Brad and the final three bachelorettes Bianka, Kara, and Whitney set off to the Maritimes for a week of romance and fantasy dates last night on Citytvs The Bachelor Canada. Securing the first date of the week once again, Bianka met Brad in Ferryland, N.L. for an afternoon of sea kayaking and larger-than-life icebergs in the frigid Atlantic waters.Not letting the weather dampen their spirits, they later cuddled up for a picnic on shore, where Bianka expressed her hesitance at the prospect of staying overnight in the fantasy suite. Ultimately, she decided that extra alone time with Brad was important for their relationship and chose to spend an intimate evening with him in St. John's.

From sea kayaking to skeet shooting, the next fantasy date saw Brad and Kara slinging guns at the Fox Harb'r Resort in Wallace, N.S. Setting their sights on more than just each other, the two tested their target-shooting skills, earning the chance to ask one another a personal question with each direct hit. That night, Kara was grateful for the chance to spend some additional alone time with Brad and accepted the offer to spend the night in the fantasy suite.

The final date of the week took Brad and Whitney to Ravenglass, P.E.I. for lessons in love and lobsters aboard a fishing boat, where they worked as a team to catch and bind the crustaceans. Still struggling with her own reservations, Whitney slowly began to open up to Brad, showing him her playful side and attempting to share her feelings. Later, over a scenic dinner at dusk, she accepted the invitation to join Brad in the fantasy suite for a special night alone.

Set against the picturesque backdrop of Dalvay, P.E.I., the most important rose ceremony of the season got underway as Brad prepared to choose the final two bachelorettes who would go on to meet his family. However, things soon took a shocking turn when Whitney after receiving a rose pulled Brad aside to voice her concerns about whether she was doing the right thing.Determined to prove that what they have is special, Brad convinced her to stay and, ultimately, the only bachelorette to not receive a rose was:
