OBSBOT Named Official Camera and Webcam Partner of Esports World Cup 2026

The Esports Foundation has named OBSBOT the Official Camera and Webcam Partner for the Esports World Cup 2026, bringing the company's AI-powered imaging technology to the event this summer in Paris.

Running July 6 through Aug. 23, EWC 2026 will feature more than 2,000 players and 200 clubs from more than 100 countries competing across 25 tournaments in 24 games. As part of the partnership, more than 500 OBSBOT Tail 2 and Tiny 3 cameras will be deployed across the event's four competition stages and Fan Fest grounds.

The cameras will support a range of production needs, including broadcast coverage, creator productions, player interviews, trainer footage, live-event coverage, behind-the-scenes content, and festival activations. OBSBOT will also host an interactive booth featuring camera challenges and live demonstrations.

The OBSBOT Tail 2 cameras being used at EWC 2026 combine 4K imaging, AI-powered tracking, and NDI/SDI broadcast compatibility. The systems will be used to capture player reactions, creator content, mixed-zone interviews, player-lounge footage, and championship celebrations throughout the event.

OBSBOT will also support a real-time content-creation program designed to capture event highlights and player features for distribution across EWC and OBSBOT channels. In addition, its cameras will be used for documentary-style coverage from player lounges and mixed-zone interview areas, as well as dedicated content production for esports clubs and creators.

The partnership follows OBSBOT's involvement with EWC 2025, where its technology was used across the Opening Ceremony, the Ronaldo vs. Kak EA SPORTS FC Showmatch, EWC Boxing Night, and other community events.
