Austria-based ToolsOnAir, an innovative provider of ingest, playout and workflow solutions for broadcast and media production, has just launched OnCore, a powerful new component and automation environment for video featuring a graphical user interface that makes it easy to create and configure custom workflows. And the upcoming IBC 2016 Show will mark the public debut of onCores integration with axle Videos pioneering axle 2016.2 media management system.
Now, ToolsOnAir broadcast and media production customers can not only take advantage of axles radically simple media management - they can also create a wide range of customized workflows, all made possible through integration with axles 2016.2 filesystem architecture and built-in REST API.
The platform is available in two formats: preconfigured deployments offering fixed functionality at a fixed price, and an enterprise license with nearly unlimited configurability. The fixed user price of $990 for a 5-user license, combined with a $2,995 base 5-user license for axle 2016.2 provides the basis of a complete publishing solution at pricing that is truly unprecedented in the media management and transcode workflow space. An enterprise version of onCore is also available, including full deployment assistance for larger broadcasters wishing to use onCores extensible toolset to create custom workflows and integrations across their facility.
At IBC, ToolsOnAir will be showing the first two preconfigured deployments. onCore connect axle social automatically publishes video posts to Facebook, YouTube and Twitter based on dates in metadata fields, and onCore transcode MXF transcodes media into the standard MXF XDCAM HD422 broadcast container format.
