Talented actor Zolisa Xaluva recently announced the release date of Ferguson Films' hit series Kings of Joburg season two which will air on 27 January 2023 on Netflix.

KINGS OF JOBURG' SEASON TWO Kaya 959 reports that the actor Zolisa Xaluva hinted that the much-awaited second season of Kings of Joburg might be coming to our screens on 27 January on Netflix in 2023.

The first season of the award-winning series first premiered in 2020 with late actor Shona Ferguson, who played the leading role of Simon Vader Masire; Zolisa Xaluva played Mogomotsi Mo Masire, The River actress Tsholofelo Matshaba played a detective and Imbewu actress Buhle Samuels played Angela Masire.

The Netflix series follows the Masire brothers who rule Johannesburg's criminal underworld but a supernatural family curses them and threatens to destroy them.

CONNIE FERGUSON CONFIRMS RETURN OF NETFLIX SERIES Producer-actress of The Queen Connie Ferguson also took to her Instagram account in March to confirm that Ferguson Films is shooting season two of Netflix's series Kings of Joburg.

She shared a behind-the-scenes Instagram story from TV producer Sabelo Mgidi who was also part of season one.

Kings of Joburg two!!!????After many months with the pen ???? it's finally time!

The Kings are back! Hope you're proud Grootman!!! @ferguson_films.

With the best team in the game, @connie_ferguson @samaddavis Let's go!

Mgidi also took to his social media to dedicate the second season to the late Shona Ferguson by posting a video of him announcing the second season.

Shona Ferguson was the first to announce Kings of Joburg season two back in April 2021 before he passed away three months later (July 2021).
