JVC ha anunciado la versi n 2.0 del firmware para su c mara GY-LS300, buque insignia de la nueva gama de c maras 4K de este fabricante. La actualizaci n incluye varias mejoras entre las que destaca la nueva funci n JVC Log que permite replicar pr cticamente el look cinematogr fico, nuevos modos de grabaci n Cinema 4K y Cinema 2K, una exclusiva caracter stica denominada Prime Zoom con una innovadora tecnolog a que permite utilizar funcionalidades de zoom con lentes primarias, un histograma para el control de exposici n y una funci n Rec Trigger ahora compatible con el grabador Shogun de Atomos. Se trata de una actualizaci n gratuita para los actuales usuarios de la GY-LS300 y estar disponible este pr ximo mes de Septiembre.
Con el nuevo modo de JVC Log, la GY-LS300 proporciona unos valores de latitud y de rango din mico hasta un 800%, que rivalizan ya con lo que ofrece la pel cula. El sensor CMOS Super 35 ofrece una mayor relaci n de contraste entre las zonas oscuras y brillantes del cuadro de imagen sin saturaci n, proporcionando al mismo tiempo todos los detalles en luces y sombras.
La versi n de firmware V2.0 tambi n incluye nuevos modos de grabaci n Cinema 4K 4096 x 2160 y Cinema 2K 2048 x 1080 a varias velocidades de cuadro, con una relaci n de aspecto 17:9 para cine digital.
Las pticas primarias del mercado tienen longitud focal fija, pero la nueva funci n Prime Zoom de la GY-LS300 se aprovecha de la exclusiva tecnolog a Variable Scan Mapping de la c mara, que fue creada para adaptar electr nicamente el rea activa del sensor y acomodar nativamente m ltiples pticas con adaptadores de otros fabricantes. Cuando se utiliza una ptica primaria con montura MFT, la imagen se puede ajustar entre a m xima y m nima exploraci n utilizando el rocker del zoom de la c mara. Como resultado, la c mara puede ofrecer un valor de zoom m ximo de 2.3x para HD o de 1.25x para 4K. Esta nueva funci n Prime Zoom tambi n puede utilizarse como un extensor para pticas zoom.
La versi n 2.0 ofrece tambi n visualizaci n del histograma de brillo, algo muy til para el control de la exposici n. Adem s del histograma, la versi n V2.0 agrega un ajuste del matrizado de color, medici n por puntos para ajustar los valores de exposici n y ajuste de Black Paint para ajustar con precisi n la temperatura de color del Master Black.
JVC ha incluido tambi n varias mejoras en el apartado de streaming, con un nuevo modo de grabaci n a 70 Mbps, que hace posible la grabaci n 4K en tarjetas SDHC / SDXC de Clase 10.
