Network in Nine Career Expo at the DBAP

Inaugural Networking Event Takes Place During Game on September 1

The Durham Bulls are looking to attract the best professionals and companies the Triangle has to offer in a unique and casual atmosphere at our inaugural NETWORK IN NINE Career Expo, presented by Proforma Promographix, Inc. The event will take place on Tuesday, September 1stunderneath the famous Snorting Bull in left field at the DBAP as the Bulls take on the Gwinnett Braves.

The ballpark setting provides a one-of-a-kind, relaxed backdrop for interaction between the Triangle's top companies and most talented professionals. Organizations in attendance include: Allscripts, trialcard, Fidelity Charitable, North Carolina State University, UNC Healthcare, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and the Durham Police Department.

As a way of fostering and encouraging engagement, event vouchers will be provided to each company in attendance. These will then be given out to individuals as a reward for networking, or to entice further conversation about career opportunities the organization has for you throughout the game. The vouchers can then be exchanged for a chance to win exclusive door prizes.

Network in Nine (#Ni9) is open to all professionals and soon-to-be graduates whether currently employed or looking for future career and networking opportunities.

A game ticket must be purchased to attend the Ni9 event. The ticket will allow access to networking event and provide a seat for the game. Tickets can be purchased online HERE, by phone at 919.956.BULL, or at the DBAP box office for as low as $6.99, plus tax.

This is a relaxed and casual event. Bring your business cards and have an electronic copy of your resume ready as you meet HR Representatives at the area's best companies. Join the conversation on social media using #Ni9 and #DurhamBulls.

The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will continue throughout the game (first pitch @ 7:05 p.m.).
