Harris C4i Pty. Ltd., an Australia-based operation of Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS), has been recognized among the most successful and innovative export operations in the State of Victoria. The business received the prestigious Victorian Export Award for Innovation Excellence during the 2017 Governor of Victoria Export Awards (GOVEA) held in Melbourne and hosted by the Honourable Linda Dessau AC, Governor of Victoria.

Harris C4i is a global leader in IP and data distribution service-based secure voice communications for mission-critical environments. The organization's interoperable communications solutions are used in more than 35 countries by a wide range of industries - including aviation, defence, public safety, utilities and transport.

The business has experienced significant growth over the past five years, primarily based on exports. Award judges commended the operation's high level of system integration, product customization for different markets, staff engagement, and implementation of open standards and security assurance across product lines. This integrated and collaborative approach helped the operation to introduce numerous unique, market-specific solutions and to obtain the important U.S. Department of Defense Joint Interoperability Test Command certification, signifying the products met the highest standards of interoperability and mission needs of warfighters.
