SoFi Stadium Completes Broadcast Infrastructure Upgrade

SoFi Stadium, YouTube Theater, and Hollywood Park have completed an infrastructure upgrade expanding game presentation and broadcast production capabilities across the nearly 300-acre sports and entertainment complex. The work was developed in partnership with Ross Video, systems integrator Diversified, and other broadcast partners.

The Infinity Screen, the stadium's dual-sided 360-degree LED display, received a full system refresh. The upgrade, coordinated with Ross Video and Diversified over nearly two years, deployed a new XPression Tessera UHD system with two independent graphics stacks for full system redundancy.

A new 17-position Production Control Room 3 (PCR3) was built to allow simultaneous operation of multiple events across Hollywood Park. PCR1 and PCR2 were upgraded with Ross Video TD5L switching panels, which the company says are the first installations of this model in any venue.

The stadium's audio system was upgraded with the d&b audiotechnik Soundscape spatial audio system, allowing audio engineers to direct sound dynamically around the seating bowl. The lighting control system was upgraded to grandMA3 and grandMA Replay, deployed by Kinetic Lighting.
