The latest ABC audit (October 2013) has confirmed that leading graduate careers and jobs website prospects.ac.uk has reached a record two million unique browsers - or the equivalent of 22 full Wembley stadiums visiting the website every month and almost 10 times that of its closest competitor*.
The number of students and graduates visiting the website has gradually been rising since last year. In October 2012 the ABC audit confirmed 1.1m unique browsers and in March 2013 this had increased to 1.5m.
ABC is a recognised standard governed by the media industry. The October 2013 ABC certificate for prospects.ac.uk reports:
Unique browsers: 74,682 (daily) and 2,025,518 (monthly)
Page impressions: 214,475 (daily) and 6,648,712 (monthly)
Sarah Brookes, Marketing Director at Graduate Prospects, which runs prospects.ac.uk said: The ABC audit is incredibly important to us. It certifies our credibility as a digital media platform, and provides a stamp of trust to employers looking to advertise with us.
Reaching two million unique browsers is a significant achievement. Our success in driving more students and graduates to our site is down to investment in new systems, the development of better quality, optimised content, and improved communications.
We introduced a user experience strategy earlier in the year, which has driven mass redevelopment of our website to place our audience's needs and wants at the heart of the site. Everything we do is to better serve students and graduates, creating a captive audience that employers can access for mutual benefit.
