Birthday girl Pabi Cooper wowed fans with her one-woman show, Cooper FC Shutdown, at Pretoria's SunBet Arena on Saturday 4 March. Videos of the amapiano sensation literally taking to the skies for her grand entrance have gone viral. Not quite American superstar Pink's aerial ballet act at the 2010 Grammys, but Pabi hit all the right notes dressed in a dramatic metallic cloak, velvet bodysuit and cheeky white sneakers.

Pabi Cooper and THAT dramatic entrance The Wag n Bietjie hitmaker who released her eight-track EP, titled Cooperville, in October 2022, dazzled the audience by making her way to the stage suspended from the ceiling of the concert stadium.

Today is very close to my heart because it is not only my birthday but it is also my second year hosting Cooper FC Shutdown. This is such an honour to celebrate both these occasions with everyone, she wrote on her Instagram

The amapiano singer shared photos of herself with birthday balloons and a big bouquet of pink roses in the dressing room before her show.

-- Cassper & Co join Cooper FC The birthday girl posted some video clips and photos on Twitter after the concert, as well as thanking Cassper Nyovest, A-Reece and Kings of Amapiano (DJ Maphorisa and Kabza) who were in the star-studded line-up.

Shoutout to all the artists, teams, brands and supporters who were part of not just a successful show execution but also making history again with Pabi Cooper being the youngest artist to host at SunBet Arena.

The young and ambitious artist, who is also a dancer, MC and goalkeeper, shared that she wishes to fill up an even larger venue in 2024.

Next year we're doing it bigger and better, a re fele moya. We're doing it beyond our wildest imagination, breaking the barriers because God got us.
