Fujifilm sponsors the Scottish Radiological Society AGM

The company were delighted to sponsor the 2013 Scottish Radiological Society AGM.

Held on 15th November 2013, the AGM took place in the Suttie Centre at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and was well attended by the Society's members. Dr Steve Yule, organiser of the AGM, opened the day with a welcome and introduction, followed by some lively and informative sessions including:

Out-sourcing - for better or worse? delivered by Dr Nicola Strickland from Imperial College in London.

Imaging of paediatric emergencies delivered by Dr Sam Stafrace from Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

Strategies for dose reduction in paediatric imaging from Dr Simon McGurk of RHSC Edinburgh & BGH Melrose

After a break for lunch, the AGM commenced and included SRS AGM Lecture Imaging the post-operative abdomen from Dr Damian Tolan of Leeds General Infirmary, followed by Endoscopic Ultrasound: an update from Dr John Leeds of Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

Dr David Eason from Raigmore Hospital continued the day with his delivery of CT virtual colonography - where are we at and what's round the bend? Rounding up the informative sessions was Dr Lutfi Kurban from Aberdeen Royal Infirmary who explored Imaging of hepatocellular carcinoma.

The day concluded with an update on the SRS website from SRS Secretary Dr Margaret Brooks, and the Anne Holman Medal Presentation by Professor Alison Murray.
