Contribution to Europe's technological autonomy in the key industry telecommunications
aconnic AG (ISIN: DE000A0LBKW6), Munich, starts commercial shipments and ramping up supply of the new ACCEED 1444 system. The ACCEED 1444 is designed to support the ongoing fiber rollout of gigabit fiber networks by bringing fiber closer to the customer while simultaneously providing the missing critical symmetrical copper-based services and applications with an uninterrupted service continuity.
Developed in Europe and manufactured in Germany, the ACCEED 1444 reflects aconnic's commitment to technological sovereignty, trusted supply chains, and long-term infrastructure investments.
The ACCEED 1444 is specifically designed for deployment in street cabinets and supports both Ethernet and TDM-based legacy services.
For decades, central offices in buildings have been an essential part of telecommunications networks. Despite the rapid global deployment of fiber-optic networks, thousands of central office buildings remain operational because business customers and mission-critical symmetrical highly reliable services still require direct copper-based connectivity.
With the aconnic ACCEED 1444 gigabit system, which supports symmetrical DSL, remote power feeding, and for the first time ever, multi supplier SDSL interoperability, telecommunications networks can now reach a new level of fiber migration that enables the decommissioning of thousands of expensive central offices.
By relocating service connectivity from the central office into street cabinets while maintaining existing copper connectivity towards the customer, network service providers can preserve services without customer migration, service interruption, or replacement of customer equipment.
The aconnic ACCEED 1444 is fully integrated with aconnic's MetroIntegrator Network Management System. The platform enables centralized operations, provisioning, service assurance, and efficient execution of large-scale transformation programs.
The ACCEED 1444 is an environmentally hardened system which will be available as a rack-mounted system (ACCEED 1140).
With the ACCEED 1444 systems now entering volume production, aconnic continues to expand its portfolio of carrier-grade infrastructure solutions that address both the technical and financial transformation requirements of modern telecommunications service providers and network architectures. , says Werner Neubauer, CEO of aconnic AG.
