A Decade of Innovation: AMP VISUAL TV Builds on Ten Years of MediorNet EvolutionAMP VISUAL TV is continuing the evolution of its production infrastructure with further investments in Riedel technology across its OB fleet and fixed production facilities. In recent years, the French audiovisual production services provider has continued to expand its Riedel-based production infrastructure across new vehicles, flyaway systems, studios, and its media center, with further MediorNet, Artist, and Bolero deployments as well as an extension of its use of SimplyLive.

These latest investments continue an infrastructure strategy that has evolved steadily over the past decade. What began in 2016 with the Millenium Signature 12 and one of the largest MediorNet deployments in an OB truck at the time was subsequently extended across further vehicles and production environments. Over the following years, the company expanded its use of Riedel technologies across its fleet and into studios, control rooms, and its media center in Paris - building on the same MediorNet foundation while adding and reallocating resources as its production requirements evolved.

That gives us the confidence to keep evolving our production environment together - and hopefully continue this journey for another decade.

AMP VISUAL TV's continued investment is a strong testament to what a long-term technology partnership can achieve, said Franck Berger, Regional Sales Director Southern Europe, Riedel Communications. What started with one ambitious OB project has grown into a broader production infrastructure spanning mobile and fixed environments. That is exactly the idea behind MediorNet: giving customers a foundation they can build on, extend, and adapt as their requirements change. AMP VISUAL TV has been doing just that for ten years - adding resources where they are needed while continuously evolving its production environment.

In recent years, the French service provider has continued this ongoing development, investing in three new production vehicles and 60 flyaway boxes based on Riedel technology, including over 350 MediorNet units, more than 20 Artist intercom nodes, and 550 Bolero wireless intercom beltpacks. Among these projects are the Millenium Signature 15, Millenium Compact 1, and Millenium Compact 2 trucks, alongside further MediorNet expansion at the company's media center and additional equipment for its production fleet. It has also recently renewed SimplyLive licenses for 15 servers across its fleet, extending the partnership further into live production workflows.

The scale of that evolution is reflected in AMP VISUAL TV's current productions. At the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, the company has deployed around a dozen production vehicles in a networked production environment. Looking ahead, AMP VISUAL TV can continue to extend and adapt its established MediorNet foundation as production requirements evolve - adding resources where they are needed and developing its workflows at its own pace. Ten years after the first deployment, MediorNet remains a foundation the company continues to build on for the next generation of live production.
