It's here! The trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is finally out. And it's everything.

A FIRST LOOK AT THE NEW TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES MOVIE The first trailer for the new Seth Rogen-produced film, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem, has been released, and fans are loving it.

The nearly two-minute trailer gives fans a sneak peek into all the action, and humor fans have come to know and love about the green teenage heroes.

The latest film will be the seventh in the feature franchise based on the 1984 comic of the same name, MailOnline reports.

To amp up the nostalgia, the trailer kicks off to the beat of the 1990s classic hit, Can I Kick It? by A Tribe Called Quest.

And in true mutant ninja style, the brothers Leonardo (Nicholas Cantu), Donatello (Micah Abbey), Michelangelo (Shamon Brown Jr.), and Raphael (Brady Noon) all pop out of a New York City sewer.

But, the movie is definitely not set in the 90s as the boys soon flip out a smartphone to film them practicing their skills on a watermelon.

In a hilarious part of the trailer, the turtles come face to face with some bad guys. But the baddies are left confused:

What the heck are those things? one says.

They look like little Shreks to me, another says.

SETH ROGEN BROUGHT BACK ALL THE FAVOURITES The producer, Seth Rogen, describes himself in the trailer as a permanent teenager and made sure to include a few signature characters in the film.

Known bad guys, Bebop and Rocksteady, are voiced by Rogen and John Cena, respectively, MailOnline reports.

The turtles' mentor, Master Splinter, voiced by Jackie Chan, can also be seen in the trailer.

Everyone's favourite journalist April O'Neil, voiced by Ayo Edebiri, also appears in the trailer.

Ultimately, she asks the turtles: So you were baby turtles who made contact with mystery goo.

To which Rafael answers: Well, we prefer the term ooze, but yeah.

The film features a star-studded voice cast that includes Paul Rudd, Rose Byrne, Maya Rudolph, Giancarlo Esposito, Ice Cube, Hannibal Buress, Post Malone, and Natasia Demetriou, as per IMBD.

In 2021, Rogen took to Twitter to announce the film's release date. He posted a snap of a page from Leonardo's science notebook.
