The Shepherd brothers are incorporated into the new international project of Mediapro lex y David Pastor, guionistas y directores espa oles con una reconocida trayectoria en Estados Unidos, se har n cargo de The Head', una de intriga criminal ambientada en el Polo Sur y coproducida por Mediapro y Dramacorp.
The Head, el nuevo proyecto internacional del grupo Mediapro, ha iniciado su andadura de la mano de lex y David Pastor, guionistas y directores espa oles con una reconocida trayectoria en Estados Unidos. Los hermanos Pastor han iniciado la escritura de esta serie de intriga criminal seleccionada por el prestigioso foro de coproducci n S ries Mania y coproducida por Mediapro y la productora sueca Dramacorp.
Los hermanos Pastor se encargar n de comenzar a desarrollar este thriller de supervivencia en el que diez cient ficos, atrapados en un laboratorio cient fico m vil en el Polo Sur, descubren que entre ellos hay un asesino.
Con una brillante carrera cinematogr fica a sus espaldas con t tulos como Carriers and The Last Days, ambas escritas y dirigidas por ellos o Self/Less, escrita por ellos, dirigida por Tarsem Singh (The Cell) y protagonizada por Ben Kingsley y Ryan Reynolds; los hermanos Pastor se introdujeron en el negocio televisivo de la mano de la serie Incorporated de la cadena estadounidense Sy Fy. lex y David Pastor fueron los creadores de esta ficci n producida por Pearl Street Films, la empresa de Matt Damon y Ben Affleck, cuyo piloto estuvo a cargo de los Pastor en el guion y la direcci n.
El proyecto es una idea original de Mediapro (David Troncoso) que, al igual que los ya anunciados, se enmarca dentro de la apuesta estrat gica del grupo en el rea de contenido. Mediapro contin a apoyando el desarrollo de proyectos originales con el fin de seguir expandiendo sus contenidos a nivel internacional. En estos momentos, tiene varios proyectos internacionales en marcha entre los que destacan IOSI, el esp a arrepentido and Stroke con Oficina Burman; The New Pope, la nueva serie de Paolo Sorrentino con Sky y HBO; El f tbol no es as con DirecTV Latin America, serie basada en una novela de Javier Tebas y Pedro Torrens que dirigir Daniel Calparsoro; o The Paradise, el proyecto que est n codesarrollando Mediapro y la cadena p blica finlandesa YLE y que fue presentado por Ran Tellem el pasado junio, en la primera edici n de Conecta Fiction.
En cuanto a la productora Dramacorp, destacar que es un proyecto desarrollado en 2016 por Patrick Nebout junto a Jan Mojto, cuya distribuidora alemana Beta Film es su mayor accionista. Con sede en Estocolmo, la compa a se centra en el desarrollo y producci n ejecutiva de high-concept dramas con proyecci n internacional, y su principal objetivo es asegurar el packaging creativo y financiero de proyectos originales y novedosos capaces de destacar en el mercado global de drama. Anteriormente Patrick Nebout fund NICE Drama junto con el productor y escritor Henrik Jansson-Schweizer. Entre sus producciones m s destacadas se encuentran The 110-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared, la pel cula m s taquillera de la historia en Suecia; la exitosa saga Thicker Than Water (SVT-YLE) o el thriller Midnight Sun (Canal+/SVT), la primera serie dram tica coproducida por socios suecos y franceses. Actualmente, Nebout se encuentra en pre-producci n del thriller escandinavo Hamilton para la joint venture Dramacorp - Pampas Studios.
