Popular actress Gogo Tshinakaho Mananga, who recently debuted in SABC2's soapie Muvhango at 96 years old as an ancestor says her prayers were answered when she landed the character of Lindelani's guide Vho-Nyadzenga.

96-YEAR-OLD GOGO TSHINAKAHO MANAGA BAGS ROLE IN SOAPIE The 96-year-old actress Gogo Tshinakaho Mananga tells Daily Sun that she prayed for Muvhango to call her back with the role and her prayers were answered when she bagged the character of Lindelani's guide Vho-Nyadzenga.

Viewers of the soapie first saw her a few weeks ago when she popped up on the royal chair in the palace and introduced herself to Lindelani (Ronewa Mudau).

The publication and entertainment commentator Phil Mphela reveal that the talented actress will reappear in the soapie in the near future.

It is reported the star was leading a normal life with her daughter-in-law and grandchildren until she was cast as an extra during the show's location shoot.

Even though she can't read her lines or write, sources from the show reveal that she's able to grasp her lines and take direction.
