Stockholm, Sweden September 9th, 2026 At IBC2026, on booth 1.B47, Net Insight will showcase Open Live Media, its architecture for delivering resilient live media services across networks, partners, facilities and cloud environments. As production workflows become more distributed, Open Live Media keeps the service constant giving broadcasters, production companies and media service providers consistent visibility, resilience and control, even as the infrastructure underneath changes.

As live production becomes more distributed, the challenge is no longer simply moving more media or adding more bandwidth. A single live service may cross multiple networks, suppliers, production environments and cloud platforms each with its own capacity, routing, security and operational model.

Open Live Media addresses this issue by putting the media service above the underlying connectivity. Nimbra Live Intelligence provides service-level visibility, orchestration, monitoring and assurance across the workflow, including insight into underlying capacity and timing behavior. Nimbra Live provides the deterministic transport, processing and resilience required to execute the service, with capabilities including path and link diversity, hitless protection and scalable service-aware transport.

When live media crosses independently managed environments, Trust Boundary provides a controlled IP media service handoff between domains. It preserves native RTP/IP whenever transformation is not required while maintaining service separation, adaptation and operational control allowing each domain to remain independently engineered.

At IBC2026, Net Insight will show this architecture in practice from the production edge to the media core including the new Nimbra 1020 for access and controlled interconnect, ultra-low-latency HEVC for remote and centralized production, high-density JPEG XS and ST 2110 workflows, and Nimbra 1060 for service-aware 100G/400G transport. Nimbra Edge and Nimbra Live Intelligence extend orchestration, visibility and control across the complete service.
