Vizrt has made two key hires targeting the sports sector, adding Kevin Bovet as Head of Sports, Business Development for Vizrt Americas and Ramon G. Ramos as its new Global Head of Esports.

As Head of Sports Bovet will develop relationships with rights holders including leagues, teams, and arena. He will be responsible for leading and growing Vizrt's Sports business unit in North and Latin America.
Prior to joining Vizrt, he led sales and business operations for the Westchester Knicks (New York Knicks NBA G League affiliate team, owned and operated by Madison Square Garden), partnering with the respective divisional leadership in the execution of marketing partnership sales, team tickets sales, event presentation, and the overall game-day fan experience, as well as marketing and MSG Networks to optimize visibility for the team.
As Vizrt's new Global Head of Esports, Ramos will be responsible for leading the company's continued expansion into the worldwide esports ecosystem by developing relationships with publishers, leagues, arenas, production houses, teams, networks, content creators, and more.
For the past nine years, Ramos was the Vice President of Research and Sponsorship Solutions for the NBC Sports Group and created (from inception) a department that was responsible for data and sales strategy for the NBC Sports Regional Networks. Prior to NBC Sports, held similar responsibilities at Comcast Spotlight in Washington DC, WUSA CBS 9 in Washington DC, and WTXF FOX 29 in Philadelphia, PA. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Villanova University, Villanova, PA, and currently resides in New York City.
