What is Assist for NUKEX? NUKEX's Assist tool allows the essential everyday tasks of paint, roto, 2D tracking and planar tracking to be shared with a wider group of artists at no additional cost.
Available as two additional licences for every NUKEX licence with valid maintenance, Assist for NUKEX gives artists access to a select set of NUKE nodes to perform the essential everyday tasks of paint, roto, 2D tracking and planar tracking and comes completely free to NUKEX customers on valid maintenance.
How do I get my hands on Assist for NUKEX?
If youre a NUKEX owner with valid maintenance you can get hold of your Assist licences now, we have sent you an email with instructions.
If youre a NUKEX customer but are worried your maintenance may have lapsed, please contact sales@thefoundry.co.uk or your local reseller to renew and get your hands on the latest release and Assist licences.
If youre a NUKE customer and are interested in Assist, please contact sales@thefoundry.co.uk or your local reseller to ugrade to NUKEX today.

NUKEX's Assist tool is a new addition to the NUKEX feature set only available for NUKEX customers with current maintenance. Technically it is a separate installing NUKE licence (nukexassist_i) with a cut down feature set to perform the common tasks of Paint, Roto, 2D Tracking and Planar Tracking.
How many Assist licences do I get for every NUKEX licence I have? Two Assist licences will be available with every NUKEX licence on valid maintenance.
What is the benefit to me of having NUKEX's Assist tool? The Assist licences will allow you to share your paint, roto and 2D tracking work with a wider group of artists without the additional cost of a full NUKE license or equivalent application.
How will NUKE Assist be licenced? Assist for NUKEX will be licenced as two separate NUKE licences, and both will be linked to the maintenance term of your existing NUKEX licence. When your maintenance expires so will the Assist licences.
Will Assist be available as both floating and node-locked licences? Yes.
I am a NUKE customer, can I buy Assist licences? Assist is only available for NUKEX customers with valid maintenance. If you are a NUKE customer and want to get your hands on NUKEX's Assist tool, contact sales@thefoundry.co.uk or your local reseller to upgrade your NUKE licence to NUKEX today. I am a NUKEX customer with valid maintenance for a floating licence how to I get my Assist licences? You have been sent an email with a unique link for each licence key that you hold, this link will direct you to a web page where the correct number of Assist licences will be automatically generated for each NUKEX licence key. These licences will also be automatically aligned to your current maintenance cycle for each licence key.
I am a NUKEX customer with valid maintenance for a node-locked licence how to I get my Assist licences? You have been sent an email with a unique link for each licence key held that will direct you to a web page where you will need to fill in the system ID's of the machines you require your Assist licences to be run on, the correct number of Assist licences will then be automatically generated for each NUKEX licence key. These licences will also be automatically aligned to your current maintenance cycle for each licence key.
I have a three machine redundant licence server, how to I get my Assist licences? Customers with this set up should contact licenses@thefoundry.co.uk to access their Assist licences.
Is it possible to buy more Assist licences? If you are a NUKEX customer on valid maintenance and want to increase the number of Assist licences you have access to please contact sales@thefoundry.co.uk or your local reseller to discuss purchase options.
