ITN Productions to provide live commentary for International Champions Cup

The International Champions Cup (ICC) has commissioned ITN Productions' Sport division to provide live commentary for international broadcasters during the tournament.

ITN Productions will produce remote live English language commentary for 11 games during the tournament, which takes place in the US from July 20 to August 11.

ITN Productions Sport team benefits from the state-of-the-art infrastructure of ITN which enables raw live footage to be digitally fed from Arqiva into ITN's master control room. Pundits and commentators in ITN will provide live commentary that will be mixed on top of the footage and sent back via to Arqiva for international clients to access live for their own networks.

ITN Productions will provide commentary for games played during the 2018 tournament. Commentators include John Anderson who has more than 30 years' experience in TV and radio as a sports commentator and reporter, specialising in football and athletics, as well as Joe Speight, who has worked for ITV, ESPN, Setanta, Sky, BBC, and Mark Scott, formerly of Match of the Day, BT, ITV and Bundesliga.

They will be supported by former players and co-commentators, Don Hutchison (ex-Liverpool, Everton, Sunderland, West Ham, and Scotland international), Clive Allen (ex -Tottenham, Crystal Palace and QPR) and Michael Gray (ex- Sunderland, Blackburn Rovers and England).
