Trust in Sony, CineAlta and the future

A history of excellent customer experience and trust in the Sony brand. The announcement at Cine Gear 2017 that Sony was planning to introduce a new full frame camera to the market was enough for camera rental service Ludwig Kameraverleih GmbH' to order two new VENICE cameras, but even before they knew what was fully on offer. There and then Ludwig Kameraverleih Gmbh signed up to purchase whatever was to be revealed, and they're really pleased they did, now being the first to receive their VENICE cameras in Europe.

VENICE is Sony's first digital camera with a Full-Frame sensor, and latest addition to the CineAlta camera systems. It supports 24 x 36mm Full-Frame image capture and provides a great dynamic range to guarantee high-quality pictures, even under difficult light conditions.

Visionary thinking and going for the right industry trends has always been my entrepreneurial strategy , says the founder and former CEO of Ludwig camera rental Martin Ludwig. His words have been put into action with the purchase of the first two digital VENICE film camera systems with Full-Frame sensor. Together with Martin Kreitl, CEO of accredited VENICE trade partner BandPro, Sony's Product Manager for Cinematography Sebastian Leske proudly hands over the first VENICE digital motion picture cameras on European ground. Manager G nter Neuhaus made the exchange in front of Ludwig Kameraverleih's Berlin branch.

Visionary spirit as a basis for a successful cooperation

Ludwig Kameraverleih GmbH understands the innovative spirit at Sony, which certainly had an impact on the purchase decision: We at Ludwig started to digitalise our offer very early on. We have very much appreciated and not forgotten Sony's pioneer role in offering us the first 24p-digital camera system HDW-F900, the first RGB-recording system HDC-F950 and SRW-1 and the Super35 image sensor camera F35, which paved the way for us in high-end-movie production technology , explains G nter Neuhaus. In the end, it was a mix of very great customer experiences, especially with the F55 and F65 cameras, the reliability of the products, the German Sony team, as well as our belief that Sony will continue to offer us the best products in the future. We want and have to make our customers satisfied and happy. At Ludwig, we are certain that we will be able to fulfill that promise with the next generation of the acclaimed CineAlta family, the two VENICE digital camera systems with Full-Frame sensors. That's the reason why we didn't hesitate to place the order even before we fully knew what was coming .

Adjusted to the film industry's needs

Full-Frame recording was the result of many intensive discussions amongst film industry professionals, from directors, cameramen, digital image technicians as well as rental service insiders. Sony knows what's important for professional image capture: the dynamic range, the color reproduction and options for aspect ratio for large formats.
