(arvato Systems) G tersloh/Leipzig - arvato Systems has, as winner of an EU-wide invitation to tender, renewed its contract with the Transmission System Operator (TSO) TenneT. The recently signed contract includes, in addition to Datacenter Services and Network Operations, further services such as User Help Desk and Workplace. The establishment and further development of Shared Services for TenneT in the Netherlands and Germany as well as a strategic partnership for IT and further digitization also play a central role.
TenneT is one of the leading TSO in Europe, operating in the Netherlands and Germany, and reliably supplies circa 41 million end-users around the clock from around 22,000 kilometers of high-voltage power lines.
The central and decentral IT Services provided by arvato Systems are related to almost all areas of TenneT's IT infrastructure in the Netherlands and Germany, thus providing an essential element for the support of the organization's corporate strategy. The successful partnership during the last five years is therefore not just prolonged, but significantly expanded.

The new contract has a duration of 4,5 years plus two options for extension of each two years.
