Netflix to Launch September nd in Japan

Netflix Japan KK, the Japanese subsidiary of the world s largest Internet video streaming network, Netflix, will begin service in Japan Wednesday, September 2, 2015.

Netflix boasts over 65 million users in more than 50 countries, and its low-cost, monthly subscription-based service delivers TV dramas and movies in excess of 100 million hours per day, including its own original TV series, documentaries, and full-length movies.

Users are able to watch whatever they like, wherever they like, whenever they like via any device with an Internet connection. There are no commercials or contract period obligations, and the service offers viewers the opportunity to enjoy high-quality video experiences such as HD and 4K, playing, pausing, and once again resuming play at their convenience.

Netflix has an innovative, built-in recommendation function based on unique algorithms to personalize members viewing experiences. 75% of Netflix more than 65 million members worldwide find something to watch from these recommended results. At launch, domestic TV manufacturers are equipping remote controls on TVs released starting this fall with a Netflix button to offer a seamless video experience.

From its September 2 launch many of the Netflix original series including Marvel's Daredevil and the newly announced Japanese Netflix original series, Terrace House as well as Atelier, a drama series portraying the lingerie industry, will begin streaming. There are also future plans for the expansion of Japanese movies and dramatic TV series.
