Edit Adds Nikki Roma As Senior Producer

Edit 1, the pre-vis boutique led by company President Michael Zimbard, has added Nikki Roma as its Senior Producer. In that role, Roma will showcase her varied skillset in both business development, as well as a producer helping client's work through the complex process of animatics, pre-visualization and both test and broadcast commercials.

At Edit 1 we believe every one of our team needs to be able to wear many hats, Zimbard says. Nikki's sales background and ability to build new business opportunities, coupled with her production experience, is a huge plus for our clients because they feel supported, and it helps us build stronger relationships and better understand their creative needs.

Joining Edit 1 marks a reunion between Roma and Executive Producer Michael Donovan, who hired Roma to her first postproduction job in 2011 as Sales Associate for post house Nice Shoes.

Pre-viz is such a niche part of the production process so having someone like Nikki who enjoys it and is so well versed in it made it a very easy decision to bring her on, Donovan says. Were lucky to have her and our clients will certainly reap the benefits.

Since joining Edit 1, Nikki has been working with agencies BBDO, Grey, Publicis and most recently Arnold NY, and Zimbard notes that her understanding of the nuances of production has enabled her to get up to speed quickly and make an immediate impact on these projects.

Edit 1 is a perfect fit for me, Roma says. Clients love working here because of their hands-on approach. For me personally, working as both a Senior Producer and helping develop new business is a perfect combination of my strengths and a natural next step forward in my career.
