Telemundo's coverage is packaged with Multiview, Catch Up with Key Plays, interactive brackets, and new Spanish-language World Cup Hub
As FIFA World Cup 2026 moves deeper into the Knockout Rounds, Peacock is leaning into the tournament as more than a match-watching destination. For NBCUniversal, the streaming home of Telemundo's Spanish-language coverage of all 104 matches in the U.S. also serves as a showcase for where large-scale live-sports experiences are headed: more personalized, more interactive, more mobile-first, and more deeply integrated with the live match.
At the center of the effort is a suite of product features built around alternative viewing angles, real-time highlights, Dolby-backed picture and sound, and a Spanish-language World Cup Hub designed to bring the entire tournament together in one place. Live matches, full replays, schedules, team-specific content, vertical highlights, and interactive brackets are all being delivered in Spanish for the first time, as Peacock looks to serve both hardcore soccer fans and casual viewers dropping in for the biggest moments of the tournament.
One of the star features of Peacock's presentation of the FIFA World Cup is Visi n de Campo [Pitchside Live], a new World Cup viewing experience available on TV and mobile for selected matches throughout the tournament. Visi n de Campo will feature Team A and Team B cameras in addition to the main broadcast, which will always be available picture-in-picture. The World Cup is one of those rare cultural moments that bring together millions of people from all walks of life, and our goal has been to make Peacock the most engaging place to experience it, says Jim Denney, chief product officer, global streaming and NBCUniversal Media Group. By pairing Telemundo's exceptional storytelling with innovations like Visi n de Campo, Multiview, Catch Up with Key Plays, and real-time highlights available in Spanish, we're giving fans more control, more context, and more ways to connect with every moment of the tournament. We're incredibly proud of what our teams are accomplishing, and the response from viewers reinforces our belief that the future of sports streaming is about delivering a more immersive, interactive, and personalized fan experience.
Visi n de Campo Extends the Live Match
The newest addition to Peacock's World Cup product suite is Visi n de Campo, which made its f tbol debut during the Round of 32 knockout matches and will continue to be part of selected matches through the dramatic do-or-die rounds of the tournament.
Peacock is the exclusive Spanish-language streaming destination for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the U.S. (Images: Peacock/NBCUniversal) The feature gives fans access to special iso cameras for each team, offering a team-perspective layer around key moments while keeping the main Telemundo broadcast available in picture-in-picture. For mobile, the experience is designed as a vertical, mobile-first viewing mode; for living-room devices, the same feeds are available in a Multiview format.
At NBCUniversal, Visi n de Campo is the latest evolution of a product concept that has been building across major sports properties this year. The World Cup version follows Rinkside Live, which was deployed around hockey and figure skating during the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympics, and Courtside Live, which brought curated alternative-angle experiences to NBA coverage on Peacock.
The format is a natural fit for soccer: team-specific camera feeds can keep viewers close to benches, player reactions, tactical shifts, and the emotional swings that often define Knockout Stage matches. With Team A and Team B camera feeds available alongside the main broadcast, the feature gives viewers a way to stay close to the benches, reactions, tactical shifts, and emotional swings that often define Knockout Stage soccer as much as the ball itself.
Peacock launched Visi n de Campo with Mexico vs. Ecuador on June 30 and USA vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina on July 1. The feature was available for the USA vs. Belgium match last night and will be again for the Argentina vs. Egypt Round of 16 game this afternoon. The streamer also plans to offer the feature for both semifinal matches on July 14 and July 15 and for the World Cup Final on July 19, with additional match availability tied to confirmed Knockout Round matchups.
For the Modern Fan: Real-Time Highlights, Catch-Up Tools
In addition to alternative viewing angles, Peacock is leaning heavily into real-time highlight discovery. Peacock's Spanish-language version of Can't Miss Highlights, Momentos que no te quieres perder, delivers real-time vertical clips on mobile devices, allowing fans to catch up quickly or jump directly into the live match.
Dedicated playlists refresh for every game, and curated collections showcase top plays from across the tournament. For fans arriving late to a match, Peacock's Catch Up with Key Plays feature provides a way to quickly get up to speed without abandoning the live experience.
That combination - live video, clipped highlights, and direct pathways into the match - reflects a broader shift in sports-streaming product design. The live game remains the anchor, but the surrounding experience increasingly needs to account for mobile consumption, social sharing, late arrivals, multitasking, and fans who want context immediately instead of waiting for halftime or postgame programming.
Peacock's Live in Browse feature allows fans to jump straight into the live match from the Peacock home page. Peacock's World Cup experience also includes Multiview and interactive tools. Predicciones lets fans predict match winners and share results with friends. Launching for the quarterfinals, Tu Brackets will allow fans to create and track their own brackets within the app through the end of the
