Explore the Lands of Oz on Spotify With This Exclusive Wicked' Experience

Fans have been counting down the days until the final theatrical chapter of Wicked is revealed. To celebrate the highly anticipated release of Wicked: For Good and its soundtrack, we're introducing The Lands of Oz on Spotify, an immersive in-app experience that transports fans to the Emerald City and beyond.

Tap the pop-up on the Spotify home page or search The Lands of Oz to be transported to an interactive map of Oz, where you can explore key locations that unlock exclusive content, including behind-the-scenes stories from Wicked composer and lyricist Stephen Schwartz.

At the end of your adventure, you'll receive a personalized share card showing your Wicked: The Soundtrack minutes listened and top tracks, with the option to dive back into the map and discover even more magical stops. The experience is available in English, Portuguese, French Canadian, German, and Spanish, so more fans around the world can join the journey.

Fans can also hit play on the refreshed Wicked: For Good Official Playlist, where they'll find a few Easter eggs hidden in the play bar alongside brand-new songs from the film, including The Girl in the Bubble and No Place Like Home.

I always wanted to write a song for Elphaba called No Place Like Home' because it's so ironic-that's the famous phrase from the 1939 Wizard of Oz movie, said Stephen in a Spotify-exclusive video. For that to come out of the mouth of the Wicked Witch, in a non-ironic way, just seemed terrific.

Since its release in November 2024, Wicked: The Soundtrack has surpassed 870 million streams on Spotify. The most popular tracks include Defying Gravity, What Is This Feeling?, and, of course, Popular. Following the release of the Wicked: For Good trailer on June 4, streams of the soundtrack jumped 72% week-over-week.

A magical night in NYC Last night, Spotify hosted an early listening event of Wicked: For Good The Soundtrack, where top fans were treated to an exclusive preview of the new music and a Q&A with Stephen, moderated by Jess Val Ortiz.
