Here are the three most popular songs in South Africa according to Apple Music and Spotify.

YouTube lists the same songs on their chart, except the order of the most popular songs are different. According to YouTube, Awukhukezi appears first, followed by Mnike, and then Imnandi Lento.

1. Imnandi Lento (featuring Tman Xpress, Mellow & Sleezy) The official YouTube video for this song has been viewed more than 1 million times.

If you aren't sure about the genre, it's Amapiano.

Tman Xpress hails from Soweto, and his passion has been creating beats and cool music since his school days according to his Facebook page.

Collaborators include Mellow & Sleazy, who can both be heard doing their thing on Imnandi Lento.

2. Awukhuzeki (featuring Ommit, Sobzeen & Zee_nhle) The song Awukhuzeki made our list of Amapiano song of the day, and we just know that some readers have been singing along to this one through their day already.

It's the second most-popular track in the country according to iTunes and Spotify. It's quite catchy, too!

DJ Stokie is also from Soweto, bringing the Amapiano genre to millions of listeners.

Many readers will know him by another song, unrelated to the Eminem track, called Superman.

The song Mnike comes from TylerICU and Tumelo_za: let's not forget the list of side-collaborators that are almost longer than the title of the track.
