Sony launches CineAlta Club to provide training and support for the Cine community posted: 26/01/2021
Sony has today announced the launch of its new CineAlta Club, to support and educate the cinematography community. Building on its notorious CineAlta brand, home to cinematic cameras such as VENICE, Sony will be providing a series of online and offline training courses for the community to support them in their preparations for shooting season in the Spring. Offline courses will happen when situation allows at Sony's Digital Media Production Centre (DMPC) at Pinewood Studios.
There will be three sessions run by Sony specialists and industry professionals:
Crew Call: For crews who are using VENICE cameras, this is an opportunity to ask your questions and get support from the experts. This will be hosted online.
VENICE refresher: In this two-hour session get up to date on the latest cinematography workflows and VENICE camera upgrades. This will be hosted online and in-person when allowed at the DMPC.
VENICE Accreditation: This two-day paid training course will provide DoP's, DIT's, Operators and AC's with in-depth training on our VENICE cameras and production workflows to maximise on-set efficiency and creative expression. This will be hosted in-person when allowed at the DMPC.
