Weather forecast and UV index for all provinces Gauteng: Cloudy at first with morning fog patches in places, otherwise partly cloudy and warm.

UVB sunburn index: High.

Mpumalanga: Cloudy and cool with morning fog and drizzle patches along the escarpment and Highveld, becoming partly cloudy in the west in the afternoon. Isolated showers, rain and thundershowers are expected in places.

Limpopo: Cloudy and cool to warm with morning drizzle and fog patches along the escarpment, becoming partly cloudy in the west in the afternoon where it will be hot in places. Isolated showers, rain and thundershowers are expected in places.

North-West Province: Fine and warm, but cloudy to partly cloudy in the north-east.

Free State: Cloudy in the extreme east at first with morning fog patches, otherwise fine and cool to warm.

Northern Cape: Hot in places over the interior, otherwise fine and warm, but cool along the coast. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly.

Western Cape: Hot in places over the interior, otherwise fine and warm, becoming partly cloudy along the south-west coast by the evening. The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly, but easterly to south-easterly along the south coast.

UVB index: Very high.

Western half of the Eastern Cape: Fine and warm, but cool along the coast between Cape St.Francis and Port Alfred. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh northeasterly to easterly, but strong in the east in the afternoon.

Eastern half of the Eastern Cape: Cloudy to partly cloudy south of the escarpment at first with drizzle patches, otherwise fine and cool, remaining partly cloudy along the coast. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate southerly to south-easterly, becoming moderate to fresh easterly to north-easterly by mid-morning.

KwaZulu-Natal: Cloudy and cool with morning fog patches in places over the interior and isolated morning showers and rain in places in the east and north-east. It will become partly cloudy in the afternoon. The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly to south-easterly, becoming moderate easterly to north-easterly in the afternoon.

UVB index: Moderate.
