GoPro Grows Snow Team with Stellar New Athletes

Spring may be upon us, but GoPro still has its eye on winter. As our current athletes like Travis Rice, Jamie Anderson and Sage Kotsenburg continue to hunt down powder in Alaska and Switzerland, our snow sports group has been tracking stellar new talent to add to our roster of ski and snowboard athletes. From Idaho to California, Colorado to Sweden, our new additions will deliver the video goods as soon as the first flakes fall next winter!
Ski
Lynsey Dyer Lynsey Dyer's professional ski career has spanned more than a decade. She has skied on six continents, won every big mountain competition she's entered, been awarded Female Skier of the Year by Powder magazine and the first female athlete on the cover of Freeskier magazine, and cemented her place as one of the best big mountain skiers in the world. Dyer is also the co-founder of She-Jumps, a non-profit organization with a mission to increase female participation in outdoor activities.
Gus Kenworthy Gus Kenworthy is an American freestyle skier competing in slopestyle, superpipe and big air. He has taken home four straight Association of Freeskiing Professional (AFP) titles and competed in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, winning silver in Men's freestyle skiing. He won his first medal, a bronze in Slopestyle, at the 2013 X Games in Tignes, France.
Jesper Tj der Rising star Jesper Tj der hails from stersund, Sweden, where he began skiing at four years old. Since that day, Jesper has been pushing himself to master all sorts of new tricks in his discipline of freesking. He was the number one ranked freeskier on the 2013/2014 Federation of International Skiing (FIS) World Rankings, made the 2014 Winter Olympics team in Sochi, Russia, and is proposed to be the frontrunner going into the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games.
Dyer, Kenworthy and Tj der join an incredible list of GoPro ski team athletes including: Chris Benchetler, Bobby Brown Julian Carr, Chris Davenport, Tanner Hall, Ted Ligety, Julia Mancuso, Kaya Turski, Lindsay Vonn and Tom Wallisch.
Snowboard
Chloe Kim At just 15 years old, Chloe Kim is an elite American snowboarder and the youngest Gold medalist to date at an X Games winter event. Too young to compete in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Kim won Gold in the super pipe event at the Aspen Winter X Games, beating Kelly Clark, who is considered the sport's most decorated competitor. Known for her groundbreaking ability to ride switch comfortably, Kim also has a reputation for throwing huge tricks in the pipe, generating speed that helps her get massive air. Watch for big things from this young phenom in the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games.

She can now count Jamie Anderson, Ralph Backstrom, Mike Basich, Dan Brisee, Haldor Helgasson, Elena Hight, Ayumu Hirano, Nate Holland, Torstein Horgomo, Tim Humphreys, John Jackson, Sage Kotsenburg, Travis Rice, Hannah Teter, Xaveir de la Rue, Shaun White and Eric Willett as her sponsored team mates!
