Die schr gen, witzigen und mitunter d steren Anthologie-Geschichten des Seriensch pfers, Regisseurs und Sundance-Award-Gewinners Bobcat Goldthwait erz hlen von merkw rdigen Figuren, die mit irgendeiner Form von Monstern zu k mpfen haben. In den Gastrollen sind Seth Green (Family Guy), Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina - Total verhext!), Dave Foley (Saturday Night Live), Danny Pudi (Community), Michael Ian Black (Stella), Bridget Everett (Patti Cake$), David Koechner (Anchorman - Die Legende von Ron Burgundy) und weitere zu sehen.
In den in sich geschlossenen Episoden von Misfits & Monsters geht es unter anderem um einen rachs chtigen Cartoon-B ren, der seine Synchronstimme jagt, einen Werwolf, der amerikanischer Pr sident werden will, oder einen Popstar, der einen Pakt mit dem Teufel h chstpers nlich geschlossen hat. Die bizzaren Geschichten wechseln dabei von Genre zu Genre und halten so manche unerwartete Wendung bereit. In jeder Folge erwartet den Zuschauer eine neue abgedrehte Story samt skurriler Figuren und einer spannenden Prise gesellschaftskritischer Satire.
