Wondering what to watch? Here's a list of shows to binge this September on Netflix from both South African and international content.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON NETFLIX THIS SEPTEMBER Netflix brings the mystical and supernatural to life In a new series titled, The Brave Ones. The series is set in modern-day South Africa. This captivating supernatural series is inspired by the rich mythology of African gods and divine beings. It tells the story of Ntsiki (Sthandile Nkosi), a goddess reincarnated as a human being to avenge her sister's death.

But first, she must learn how to use and harness her superpowers in order to defeat her enemies and save her family from destruction. The series was created by renowned film director, writer and actor Akin Omotoso, featuring, Sthandiwe Kgoroge, Bonko Khoza and Tony Kgoroge.

The Fairies are back at Alphea with Fate: The Winx Saga Season two! Tune in to find out how they master their magical powers. This month you can get a glimpse of Ana de Armas as Marilyn Monroe in the anticipated film Blonde, a fictionalised story based on the actress's life.

Little Women 3 September. Three sisters, who only have each other and never enough money, get entangled in a conspiracy involving the rich and powerful.

Once Upon a Small Town 5 September. Against his wishes a veterinarian from the big city relocates to the countryside, where he meets a policewoman, a town insider with a friendly secret.

Chef's Table: Pizza 7 September. Dig into the best pizzas from around the world, prepared by renowned chefs who bake passion, creativity and hard work into every slice.

Fate: The Winx Saga: season two 16 September. Alfea's students must protect Solaria from powerful enemies who may already be within the school, while Bloom struggles to control her powers.

Blonde 28 September. Based on the bestselling novel by Joyce Carol Oates, this boldly reimagined fictional portrait of Hollywood legend Marilyn Monroe stars Ana de Armas.

NON-BRANDED TITLES Netflix is also bringing a range of non-branded titles. So, here's what you can expect:

8 Mile 1 September. In 1995 Detroit, a talented rapper fights to prove himself on the local hip-hop scene. Eminem stars in this acclaimed drama loosely based on his life.

A Cinderella Story 1 September. Teen Sam meets the boy of her dreams at a dance before returning to toil in her stepmother's diner. Can her lost cell phone bring them together?

Jaws 1 September. When an insatiable great white shark terrorizes Amity Island, a police chief, an oceanographer and a grizzled shark hunter seek to destroy the beast.

300: Rise of an Empire 1 September. Mortal-turned-god Xerxes is back, leading the Persian forces in their invasion of Greece.

This Is 40 1 September. After a big birthday, married couple Pete and Debbie wrestle with the realities of parenthood, romance, and getting older.

Rick and Morty: Season six weekly episodes from 5 September. Worse for wear and down on their luck, Rick and Morty attempt to bounce back for more intriguing adventures, possibly involving a bunch of dinosaurs.

Joker 29 September. In 1981 Gotham City, a struggling, mentally ill comic battles to be seen. His life takes a dark, gut-wrenching turn after he lashes back at attackers.
