Recently, the Zhongjie (Ningbo) Industrial Park for International Cooperation Project has settled in Cixi Coastal Economic Development Zone. With a total investment of 5 billion yuan and a coverage area of 35 square kilometers, the industrial park aims at developing advantageous industries, including Czech Automotive Industry and component manufacturing, new material industry and general aviation industry.
Develop Internet economy with combined methods. On one hand, Cixi continues to advance the Internet applications. Ningbo Cixing Co., Ltd. puts forth custom platform for tailored sweaters in the international sweater market to forge a platform company. On the other hand, Cixi promotes intelligent manufacturing and accelerates the deep integration between the Internet and substantial economy. Zhuoli Electronic Technology Co.,Limited's intelligent electric iron with ten times the price of the normal products enters the high-end of the market. Industrial robot bearing developed byenterprises in Cixi has been granted with national honors three times. While strengthening their industrial advantages, enterprises in Cixi also avail themselves with the opportunities presented by the rising Internet + model.
The coming of the Internet of Things era makes the Internet a more significant driving force behind economic development. Ningbo's being the first pilot demonstration city of Made in China 2025 has benefited Cixi in many ways. Embrace the Intelligent Manufacturing Industry
Intelligent manufacturing plays an important role in the present Internet industry. Many private enterprises have promoted the construction of intelligent factories, featuring informatization and automation, to facilitate the technology and product upgrading. The setting up of the intelligent factory is of great experimental value to the transformation and upgrading to intelligent manufacturing.
According to the requests of BMW Group, Cixi Co., Ltd puts forth a pilot project of digitalization of the industrial bearing manufacturing workshop. With the application of Big Data and cloud computing, automatic single production line shifts to automatic linkage production line, saving cost by around 30% when completed. Cixi will carry out 366 labor saving projects, with a total investment of 6.9 billion yuan and upgrade more than 60 production lines with 50% digital equipment.
A group of enterprises have made leapfrog developments through intelligent manufacturing. The demand for RV Reducer, the main part of the industrial robot developed by Ningbo ZhongdaLide Transmission Equipment Co., Ltd. greatly exceeds the supply. The general manager of the company Cen Guojian said the profits of the first 8 months in this yeargrew by over 20% from the last year.
Intelligent manufacturing brings a change in quality to the enterprises and overall economic development in Cixi.Enterprises above the designated size have achieved a total industrial output value of 144.371 billion yuan up to August this year, with an increase of 8.5% from last year, among which new products take up 47.8% with an output value of 6.9 billion and an increase of 11.5%; and realized a profit of 9.218 billion yuan, with an increase of 11.5% from last year.
Promote the Upgrading of Industrial Economy
Cixi advocates vigorously the independent innovation on core technology to achieve breakthroughs in Internet development and facilitate the overall industrial economy.
This year, the action plan for Promoting the Construction of Strong Internet Industrial City in 2016 to 2018 was put forward for Cixi. The deep integration between the Internet, Big Data, cloud computing, the Internet of Things and Three Leveled Industries will become the new driving force behind the industrial transformation and upgrading inCixi, advancing innovation in areas such as the business model and supply chain. According to the plan, Cixi will transform over 200 automatic production lines and build more than 10 digital manufacturing workshop and at least two intelligent factories. The citywide labor productivity in industrial enterprises above the designated size is expected to reach 125,600 yuan. Intelligent equipment, household appliances and the information industry are the main focus in building a strong Internet industrial city and intelligent manufacturing base.
