At the NAB Show New York on November 9-10, LiveU (booth #1325) will present the U.S. debut of the LU600 H.265 HEVC encoder. LiveU will also demonstrate one-touch integration for Facebook Live streaming with LiveU Solo.

The need for broadcasters to develop more high-quality, dynamic live video continues, but now there is a conscious effort to accommodate viewing preferences for mobile and online audiences, said Avi Cohen, LiveU COO. And with the growing freelance network of LiveU-equipped video professionals and service providers, all broadcasters can extend their reach and acquire great content anywhere without having to send their own remote team.
LU600 - the new standard for mobile journalists
The LU600 delivers high video quality and bitrate (up to 20 Mbps), offers fast file transfer at 80 Mbps, low delay of 0.5 seconds, and 100 Mbps high-speed bonded Internet connection. The LU600 is also H.265 HEVC field upgradable, ensuring that LiveU customers are ready to deliver the best quality live video possible. Tailored to the mobile journalist, the LU600 features a streamlined user interface, ultra-responsive 5 capacitive touchscreen, and highly functional backpack that provides easy access to displays, controls, and interfaces.
