Host Broadcast Services (HBS) has deployed BBright encoders and decoders to bridge its ST 2110 production environment with the cloud using SRT transport.

Ensuring the highest quality of service in live sports broadcasting is a permanent priority for HBS. By adopting BBright's technology, HBS can now extend its advanced IP production infrastructure into the cloud with reliable and flexible contribution links. This deployment enables a ground-to-cloud and cloud-to-ground gateway. BBright encoders transport high-quality ST 2110 live feeds securely from on-premises venues and production hubs into cloud platforms for remote production, contribution and event archiving. BBright decoders then bring processed or augmented feeds back from the cloud to on-site production environments, ensuring real-time delivery with broadcast-grade reliability.

This bidirectional capability empowers HBS to create more flexible, scalable and resilient live workflows, while maintaining the gold standard of sports coverage expected by audiences worldwide.

BBright brings its recognised expertise in ST 2110 workflows and secure transport over SRT, providing interoperability between on-premises IP-based production and remote/cloud applications. In addition, BBright's engineering team worked closely with HBS to ensure smooth integration, offering responsive support and in-depth technical know-how at every stage of the project.
