UKTV Play launches on NOW TV and Roku streaming players

February 22nd 2018 UKTV has announced that from today, the free, TV on demand service UKTV Play will be available on NOW TV devices and Roku(R) streaming players.

The UKTV Play app hosts shows from UKTV channels Dave, Yesterday, Really and Drama including exclusive UKTV Originals and thousands of hours from the networks extensive archive.

NOW TV and Roku users will now have easy access to UKTVs top boxsets, from the multi-award winning Taskmaster, to Yianni: Supercar Customiser with YouTube sensation Yianni Charalambous, and Most Haunted for all the paranormal fans out there.

They can watch exclusive preview episodes from the new series of Dara O Briains Go 8 Bit and Cop Car Workshop, a brand new UKTV Original documentary series featuring behind-the-scenes access to one of Britains leading police car workshops. Preview episodes from both shows will be available on UKTV play a week ahead of transmission on TV, on Dave.

The UKTV Play app will be automatically downloaded on NOW TV Boxes and NOW TV Smart Sticks purchased from Friday and it can be downloaded from the App Store for viewers who already own a NOW TV streaming device. Roku users can add UKTV Play from the Film & TV category in the Roku Channel Store.
