Proven to be better: INA track rollers now available in X-life quality

INA track rollers are the newest addition to Schaefflers X-life product family. The redesigned LR52 and LR53 series now deliver a significantly higher load carrying capacity and longer rating life than their predecessors. A dynamic load rating increase of 15% compared to competitors products together with a speed limit increase means that they are currently the most high-performance track rollers on the market. From this fall, both series will be available exclusively in X-life quality. Because the external dimensions have remained the same, these can be used as a direct replacement for existing track rollers without requiring any modifications to the customers application.

The internal construction was the area most affected by the upgrade to X-life. The LR52 and LR53 series feature a range of design details that increase the dynamic load rating by up to 10% and the static load rating by up to 15%. This also significantly increases the rating life. Both series are offered with DEHP-free HRS seals as standard, but both are also available with improved steel sealing shields (Z) as an option. When it comes to the cage, customers can choose between an optimized polyamide cage and a rigid, robust steel cage.

What is a track roller?

Track rollers are self-retaining double-row units with particularly thick-walled outer rings. In addition to high radial forces, these bearings can also support axial forces in both directions. The outer rings have a crowned or cylindrical outside surface. Designs with a crowned outside surface are used where they are inclined in relation to the mating track and edge stresses must be avoided.
