CLEAR-COM MAKES BIG SOUNDS AT AUDIO ENGINEERING SOCIETY 06

Clear-Com , provider of real-time communication solutions and services, will exhibit its newest intercom solutions to this years AES Show at the Los Angeles Convention Center from September 29- October 1, 2016. Clear-Com will highlight the updated HelixNet Version 3.0, the acclaimed digital network partyline platform; LQ Series IP connectivity devices now connect over IP directly to the Eclipse-HX matrices and with three new GPIO versions; and the first-ever integrated-fiber wireless intercom solution, FreeSpeak II. In addition, Clear-Coms flagship intercom system, Eclipse HX, has been enhanced to provide high density Dante and AES67 interoperability support.

HelixNet Version 3.0

Already shipping and available as a free upgrade, HelixNet 3.0 now provides up to a total of 24 partyline channels for group communication. The out-of-the-box standard Main Station offers 12 channels of intercom channels, and can be doubled with the purchase of a single firmware license. All audio channels, program audio and audio interfaces within HelixNet can be distributed on a facility s standard LAN/WAN IT network infrastructure. Additionally, user devices such as the beltpacks, remote stations and speaker stations can operate over standard Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) switches. The system is configurable on a browser-based application called CCM or on the front panel menu of the Main Station in real time.

LQ Series

With matrix IP connectivity, LQ devices can now move high quality audio signals from Eclipse HX matrices between LQ devices. This allows industry-standard intercom systems or 2-way radios to be connected to the Eclipse HX matrix across buildings, cities or even countries over an IP infrastructure or the internet.

Clear-Com has also added three new models of LQ devices to the family of portable or rack-mounted IP devices, providing universal connectivity between any industry-standard 2-wire or 4-wire intercom system or audio source over IP networks. These new devices feature 4-wire audio with GPIO signalling in a 9-way connector - which is ideal for linking 2-way radios or audio and trigger signals over a IP network or the internet. A new 20 KHz mode allows high quality audio to be distributed through LQ.

FreeSpeak II

At AES, Clear-Com will debut its FreeSpeak II-Base II, the new FreeSpeak II wireless base station, and the new fiber capable FreeSpeak II Splitter box (FSII-SPL). The new FSII Splitter system allows connection to transceivers over a customers IP network. FreeSpeak II supports up to 25 full-duplex wireless beltpacks and covers a large production area with up to 10 distributed-antenna transceivers and two transceiver splitters spanning up to 65,000 feet from the base station over fiber connection. Multiple 2-wire and 4-wire ports are also available to connect with any industry-standard analogue partyline and 4-wire audio devices, respectively.

Visitors to Booth #515 at AES 2016 will see the HelixNet Version 3.0, LQ Series, FreeSpeak II and the complete Clear-Com line of new and enhanced products.
