Multi-award winning actor Warren Masemola has exited e.tv's fashion drama House of Zwide as Alex Khadzi.

INSIDE WARREN MASEMOLA'S EXIT Warren Masemola's departure from House of Zwide was confirmed by entertainment commentator Phil Mphela on Friday, 28 April.

Mphela tweeted: Warren Masemola exits House Of Zwide. The award winning actor will bid adieu to the character of Alex Khadzi on the etv telenovela next month .

The actor joined the cast as fashion designer Alex Khadzi, a design genius who is Funani Zwide's rival (played by Vusi Kunene).

Drum Magazine reported that Masemola role is a young, bold South African designer who is starting to make a name for himself internationally.

He's a highflyer, and his biggest achievements include featuring in Forbes' 30 under 30 as well as winning the coveted LVMH Prize for young designers. His creations are colourful, provocative, and eye-catching, but don't let the charm and bright outfits fool you, Alex has a heart of darkness.

WORKING ON HOUSE OF ZWIDE' The actor Warren Masemola revealed to the publication in 2022 that being an on-screen rival of an industry giant like Vusi Kunen was an honour.

I'm beyond excited to be a part of telling our story about the fashion that makes the world look up to us as Africa. Alex Khadzi's approach to the latest streetwear fashion makes it an enjoyable challenge and it's been a beautiful journey so far, he says.

I hope they enjoy the journey with me as I tried to represent the creative passion in the youth and how futuristic it is; especially in fashion and textile, social life, modeling, music, and technology.

He added that it's been a privilege to work with bra 'Vusi Kunene as an elder, who's always been marvelous to watch on theater stages, on television, and in film. It is unclear at this stage why the actor has left the show.
