PALO ALTO, Calif., November 16, 2015 HP Inc. announced today the expansion of its Engineered by HP program, collaborating with one of the world's leading watchmakers Movado Group to offer smart accessories with cutting-edge functionality, seamlessly integrated with beautiful design. .
Personal style is the ultimate self-expression, but some smart accessories on the market force consumers to sacrifice form for function, said Sridhar Solur, General Manager, Wearables and Smart Platforms at HP Inc. Our legacy of innovation is helping fashion-forward brands infuse technology into their designs to give consumers the stylish timepieces they want, but that are more connected and responsive to the way they live today.
INFUSED WITH INNOVATIONBrands supply the watch or accessories designs that their customers crave. HP then adds the smart capability to the device based on the brands' needs.
HP developed the hardware modules, software and user interface, and is providing HP cloud services for all of the brand smartwatches. HP also designed the app that allows users to configure and connect the watch to the cloud. Compatible with both Android (4.4+) and iOS (8+) devices, HP smart accessories will complement the styling of the world's top brands and offer a versatile range of design and functionality.

ENGINEERED BY HPUsers no longer have to decide between tradition and technology. Brands can customize usage modes and features to make them more relevant for their individual customers' needs.
