TV Technology is the leading media title for the latest news, analysis and features on the global broadcast industry.

TV Technology's Best of Show Awards' at IBC that honors innovation and outstanding product development is open to any company showing a product at IBC that is new since last year's event. The winners are selected by an independent panel of eminent judges who evaluate the products live on the IBC show floor on parameters like technology innovation, ease of use/maintenance, performance against category standard, richness/relevance of the feature set, value/ROI, versatility, anticipated reliability and originality.

This year, TV Technology's Best of Show Awards' was bestowed on the Promo Operations Module developed as part of PFT's flagship CLEAR Media ERP Suite's Broadcast Cloud. An industry-first functionality to automate the entire promo operations workflow, this Module provides end-to-end process orchestration for promo creation through delivery including automation of rendering of versions, using Adobe Premiere Pro CC, a key component of Adobe Creative Cloud .

Promo Operations Module can combine multiple content types to customize the versioning process and solve media logistics challenges. This includes a mechanism to import promo schedules, a workflow orchestration tool, a workflow dashboard updated automatically to aid real time tracking and bring all the stakeholders (Vendors, Promo teams, Standards & Practices (S&P), Programming and Editors) onto the same platform. The Module's versioning appliance can provide users complete flexibility to position any number of Layer Groups including combinations of voice overs, multiple audio languages, text and graphics which appear on the final promo version. The Module is aimed at solving the media logistics challenge and automating workflows to manage vendors involved in the process of versioning' promos from broadcasters to digital organizations. Currently, Promo Operations Module is being deployed as PoC (Proof of Concept) by top five US broadcasters.
