FICCI honors Namit Malhotra with award for outstanding contribution to M&E IndustryMarch 30, 2015Mumbai, 26 March 2015: Last night, Founder, Executive Chairman and Global CEO Namit Malhotra was honored by FICCI (Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry) for his outstanding contribution to Indian AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming & Comics) sector.

Namit was recognized at the FICCI BAF (Best Animated Frames) Awards evening held on the sidelines of FICCI FRAMES 2015, Asias largest annual congregation of media and entertainment industry professionals. The 2000-strong crowd gathered by the lawns of the Renaissance Hotel comprising of the who's who of the industry gave a standing ovation to Namit as he was presented the memento.

The citation referred to Namit as the poster boy of Indian entrepreneurship in Hollywood' and credited Prime Focus, among other things, as the first truly Indian multinational company to make it big in the global media and entertainment landscape'.

In his acceptance speech Namit thanked FICCI and said that while he was personally humbled' by the recognition coming from the industry, he was exceptionally proud' of Prime Focus' achievements over the years. He committed to continue doing everything within our collective power as Prime Focus to keep the flag of Indian AVGC sector flying high globally.
