Indiana has long been a basketball mecca, and today that legacy shines at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The arena has recently hosted both NBA and WNBA All-Star Games, the Indiana Fever are packing the house, and the Pacers made a thrilling run to the 2025 NBA Finals. Behind the scenes, Pacers Sports & Entertainment has transformed the venue with a major renovation - including a shift to IP-based infrastructure.
We spoke with Emily Wright, AVP, Broadcast Engineering & Operations, to break down the technical overhaul and what it means for live production.
