Aveco to Show New Generation On-Prem/Cloud/Hybrid Automation and MAM at NABShow 2023 Schedule a W3012 one-on-one
Prague, Czech Republic, 11 April 2023 Aveco, the largest independent provider of automation and MAM for media companies, will be at NABShow 2023 in the West Hall in booth W3012 with three new innovations debuting at the NAB: ASTRA V, a new generation platform for News and Sports production automation (ASTRA Studio), Aveco s new generation Master Control automation (ASTRA MCR), and a preview of Aveco s second-generation Media Asset Management (GEMINI MAM).
ASTRA Studio, Aveco's award-winning news studio production automation system, offers a great deal of flexibility in producing and broadcasting live news and sports. It does not restrict or dictate the workflow. Users can start with minimal features and grow into ASTRA Studio s full capabilities or jump right in and take full advantage to reduce costs and improve quality. The ability to work in existing infrastructures with existing equipment and applications makes for a lower initial investment than competing solutions. Aveco has the industry s largest library of interfaces and implemented APIs in production, graphics, playout and MAM. Aveco lets you decide your workflow and equipment.

Systems can expand from a single on-prem
ises channel to encompass numerous on-site and cloud-based channels all in the same unified Master Control Playout Automation user interface. There are special automation tools for News channels, Sports channels, Music channels, Movie channels, Government/Legislative channels, pop-up channels.
Located across the aisle from Harmonic's booth (W2801), Aveco and Harmonic will be demonstrating how Aveco's ASTRA Master Control Room automation integrates with Harmonic's VOS360 cloud platform. At the Aveco booth, attendees can operate several playlists. At the Harmonic booth, attendees can see the ASTRA-controlled VOS360 service, see how to make changes to the playlist and apply them to the VOS360 timeline interface, as well as view the streaming output.
GEMINI, the new generation of MAM, is engineered for on-premises, in the cloud and hybrid operations, using a range of devices: iPad, Android tablet, notebook or desktop, and in your favorite web browser. GEMINI MAM is an open system for integration with third-party media processing devices, third-party systems and appliances. Media operations are quite complex and to build a real solution that addresses the needs of today and the future does not require nor should it rely on an isolated system. It means integrating with the outside world. The openness of GEMINI scores high. GEMINI also offers third-party AI-enriched metadata, timeline annotations, editing, scheduling and distribution, media processing, complex search algorithms, and much, much more.
