Kali Audio launch Bluetooth input module for all pro monitors

Address your Lone Pine (or any other pro) monitors over Bluetooth

Kali Audios MV-BT Bluetooth input module allows the companys Lone Pine monitors to be driven over Bluetooth, for example from a producers phone or laptop.

Kali Audio, whose LP 6 active nearfield monitors were reviewed favourably by Editor-in-Chief Paul White in December 2018 and who have subsequently expanded their Lone Pine range with the larger LP-8, have announced a Bluetooth input module which will work with Kalis own monitors but crucially with any other pro monitors fitted with XLR or TRS connectors.

Designed, according to Kali Audios Nate Baglyos, in response to producers, engineers and DJs who asked for their monitors to be addressable from their phones, the MV-BT is for anyone who wishes to integrate Bluetooth into a professional audio setup without needing to rely on consumer connectors, cables or adaptors.

The MV-BT is a small desktop unit that receives audio over Bluetooth (from any phone or other Bluetooth-equipped device such as a laptop) and outputs the signal via a pair of rear-panel balanced quarter-inch TRS jacks or XLR connectors, which can then be hooked up directly to your monitors or mixer, or even a monitor controller for use with multiple pairs of speakers. Very flexible.

As you can see from the photo, the MV-BT Bluetooth interface features a hardware rotary dial for independent control of volume, and an adjacent array of blue LEDs indicates the volume visually, glowing more brightly as the output level is raised.

Pricing outside the USA hasnt yet been announced, but Stateside it is due to retail for $99, and will be available from early September.
