Pixel Cluster Madrid is born to unite Animation and Digital Creation in Madrid Un grupo de empresas y profesionales relacionados con la producci n de animaci n y la industria de los efectos visuales y digitales ponen en marcha por vez primera en Espa a un Cl ster centrado en el desarrollo industrial y tecnol gico de este sector audiovisual.
Este mi rcoles, 27 de enero, en la sede de la Consejer a de Cultura de la Comunidad de Madrid, se ha constituido Pixel Cluster Madrid, Cluster de la Animaci n y la Creaci n Digital de Madrid, cuya Junta Directiva est constituida por algunas de las empresas m s importantes del sector del cine de animaci n, los efectos visuales y servicios auxiliares de Espa a.
La presidencia y junta directiva de Pixel Cluster Madrid ha sido elegida por unanimidad entre los asistentes. Nico Matji, conocido productor del xito internacional del cine de animaci n espa ol Tadeo Jones, ocupar la presidencia del Cluster, encabezando un equipo de 13 representantes de empresas que tienen una destacada presencia en toda la cadena de valor del sector de la imagen digital y sus servicios.
Together with Matji they make up the board of directors Mercedes king (Utad), Larry Levene (Guardi n de Dragones), Ninoska Del Pino Galv n S nchez (WeLab), Xos Manuel Zapata P rez (Sygnatia), Vanessa Ru z-Larrea (Deluxe), Gonzalo carrion (El Ranchito), Mary of the Church (Lightbox Academy), Ursula Garcia (The Frank Barton Company), Jose Luis Farias (Paramotion Films), Guillermo Velasco (Big Bang Box), Victor Ceruelo (Tangram Solutions), y Noemi Coloma (Welaw).
For the first time in Spain a collaboration forum donde van a buscar sinergias importantes empresas de producci n, con empresas dedicadas al desarrollo de software, a la formaci n tecnol gica, al desarrollo de efectos visuales o a la distribuci n y comercializaci n de servicios y productos digitales.
The animation and digital creation industry is currently el 25% del empleo en el sector audiovisual espa ol. Con una generaci n de empleo directo de 10.000 profesionales de una alta formaci n y especialidad, y una estimaci n de 40.000 empleos indirectos. Profesionales y empresas con una valoraci n internacional y una capacidad de atracci n de inversi n extranjera muy importantes.
En el caso de la Comunidad de Madrid se concentra m s del 50% de la facturaci n anual del sector de la animaci n y videojuegos de Espa a. La constituci n de P xel Cl ster Madrid consolida la apuesta de las empresas madrile as por la innovaci n y la cooperaci n para impulsar la recuperaci n econ mica y el desarrollo del sector cultural y tecnol gico.
La Junta Directiva de P xel Cl ster Madrid espera contar con el apoyo de las principales instituciones y entidades p blicas de la Comunidad de Madrid para esta importante iniciativa del sector que m s valor a adido y posibilidades de crecimiento tiene en el nuevo entorno digital del audiovisual.
Para involucrar y colaborar con la mayor cantidad de actores institucionales y empresariales de Madrid, P xel Cl ster comenzar desde esta misma semana una intensa agenda de encuentros y reuniones para activar e impulsar el sector digital del audiovisual de Madrid, para convertir a nuestra ciudad en una referencia europea e internacional.
